The Dr. Gupta therapy program Sushiveda is based on the synthesis of Tibetan (Sowa-Rigpa), Indian (Ayurveda), Persian (Unani) traditional medicine. The program is designed, both preventively and curatively, to achieve and maintain health and well-being, without side effects. The program includes: vacuum therapy, herbal compresses, the use of medicinal oils for acupressure massage, several types of ayurvedic massage processes, back and head massage – including the Shirodhara process, magnetic therapy and the process of heating medicinal herbs – moxa, so-called thermo-acupuncture. For a special acupuncture procedure, very thin disposable needles are used. The needle painlessly enters the body and connects the energy channels, which are anatomically and precisely arranged according to the size of each body, depending on the vitality of the person. Through the therapeutic program of Sushiveda you can improve the quality of your life and step by step bring peace to your soul, which also says the psychological state.
The Sushiveda therapeutic program is effective in diseases of bones, joints and soft tissues: ankylosis, arthrosis, lower back pain, Ewing’s sarcoma, gout, calcific tendinitis of the shoulder, stiffness and contractures, osteoporosis and osteomalacia, rheumatism, spondylitis, allergic and autoimmune disorders, reduces headache and insomnia, pelvic pain and effectively affects the upper and lower extremities (rheumatoid arthritis, calcifications, etc.), hernias – injuries caused by spinal overload, knee pain caused by tendon inflammation (tendinitis), or meniscus damage and age-related changes (arthrosis). It is effective after a heart attack, stroke, multiple sclerosis, which affects the central nervous system (spinal cord and optic nerve). It has a stimulating effect on emotional stability and productivity (stress-related conditions) and a natural effect on improving thyroid function and hormonal balance. Most therapeutic processes begin or end with warm baths of medicinal herbs or in a reduced herbal steam bath-sauna / swedana cabin.
The success of the therapeutic program depends on the state of the chronic problem and the general psychophysical state of the person. The therapeutic experience is individual, as are the expected results, the program itself monitors the results of each person. Minor problems can be solved by properly regulating nutrition and behaviour. In the process of the first visit (Nadi Pariksha), the person is prescribed a diet plan, which from preparation to consumption is very important for the coexistence of Prana and Guna (environment and upbringing / culture and religion) “for their better state of the five elements”, in which their Ayur-Life is present.
Improving the diet can directly affect the symptoms of mental health. People with a moderately severe condition can be helped with natural remedies such as powders, tablets, laxatives, emetics, etc. The disease in the advanced stages can be dulled therapeutically by using several external therapies, such as Moxibustion, Venesection is procedure to reduce red blood cells (it is similar to the procedure used for blood draw), application of hot medicinal substances to the body to relieve pain, massage – acupressure – acupuncture, detoxification of the whole body, surgery, etc. The Sushiveda it contains a natural, yet highly sophisticated set of practices (Sowa-Rigpa and Ayurveda), designed to achieve and maintain health and well being without side effects.
The therapeutic program directs or upgrades the person towards spirituality, a higher state of consciousness. Such practices often lead to a greater connection with the general reality of man, with nature and the cosmos, with a source of inspiration or orientation for a quality life. This not only helps us in individual growth, but also elevates the world and the rest of humanity to higher levels. The mental and psychological state of a person is also explored through the influence of the planets at birth through the spiritual sphere of Vedic astrology. The sense of vitality is influenced by the law of karma/fate, the place of birth and the environment in which we live. The entire universe is part of our own higher being!

Sushiveda, the program of 3 to 6 therapies
During the first visit, a the Nadi (pulse examination) is done, which is a method to detect and identify current health conditions. If symptoms are already present, the Pariksha (pulse diagnosis) is used to determine the optimal treatment or combination of treatments for the patient’s well-being. The Nadi Pariksha, it includes pulse analysis and observation of some other vital signs (approximately 40 minutes). At the first meeting, it is decided which fluids you will receive during the Shirodhara therapy: Tailadhara, medicinal oils with the addition of medicinal herbs; Takradhara, whey buttermilk infused with medicinal herbs; Ksheerdhara, milk infused with medicinal herbs; Kwathdhara, herbal teas with the addition of organic essential oils and Jaladhara, coconut water infused with medicinal herbs.
The Shirodhara in traditional medicine is of exceptional importance for the benefit of problems with the head, neck, eyes, ears, nose, throat and nervous system. With this therapeutic procedure, a certain medicinal liquid is directed to the area of sensory experience, in the middle of the forehead in a constant thin stream. The effects are determined by the coherence of brain alpha waves and the regulation of sympathetic outflow through the centre of the frontal connection with the pineal gland. The effect is similar to meditation, which results from the calmness of the mind that leads to an adaptive response to basal stress and stabilizes the mind. It is a form of restorative therapy for stress, anxiety, depression and other psychosomatic conditions. Shirodhara is suitable for anyone suffering from headaches, insomnia, heart disease and disorders of the autonomic nervous system. The Shirodhara process has therapeutic potential for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, migraines, anaemia and mental health problems.
Before the Shirodhara process, a Mukha Abhyanga massage process is performed on the head, which improves blood circulation and allows the flow of healing fluid deep into the scalp – providing a pleasant sensation that further penetrates through the inner peripheral nerves of the forehead. The Mukha Abhyanga helps with various neuralgias on the face. It helps treat tinnitus – a consequence of reduced blood circulation in the inner ear (ringing in the ears, dizziness and headaches, jaw pain and sinusitis). It stimulates lymphatic drainage and helps with healthy sleep. It relieves fatigue and foggy thinking and is an anti-aging process!
The Pinda Sweda process according to Dr. Gupta’s recipe (herbs, spices, fruit…), is made from a ball of boiled rice mixed with black sesame, previously fried in Ghee. Black sesame is a medicinal plant and a protector of health and maintains a healthy bacterial flora! The Pinda Sweda is an ancient therapy that uses warm healing properties in a cloth bag made of fine linen fabric, and the additional composition of medicinal oils and herbs inside it is adjusted to the client’s health condition and is placed on the joints, muscles and tendons to reduce pain, inflammation and other conditions. Before that, warm medicinal oil according to the recipe for all three doshas is applied to the joints and massaged to relieve joint pain, increase blood circulation, increase joint flexibility and rejuvenate them from the inside. The Pinda Sweda additionally reduces stress, is effective for insomnia, calms the nerves and relaxes the muscles. It removes metabolic waste from the body; therefore, it acts as a mini detox treatment. It naturally contributes to better health of the musculoskeletal system and injuries related to aging.
At the end of the process, the therapy is concluded with the Udvartana process, so that the Pinda-Bag is opened and the entire medicinal mass is applied to the entire back. The Udvartana massage process reduces excess fat accumulated in the subcutaneous tissue; softens and exfoliates dead skin cells, giving the skin a radiant glow; detoxifies and eliminates bad body odor; strengthens and tones muscles and skin (especially after childbirth); refreshes and rejuvenates the body; takes care of conditions due to improper blood supply; opens body channels and increases basal metabolism; removes cellulite and improves the sense of touch; makes the body and mind alert; gives a feeling of lightness of the body and reduces cholesterol in the blood.

Mindfulness, the program for Happy Life
In traditional medicine, the therapeutic or educational goal is to help individuals understand their own mental processes in order to unlock their latent potential and live a more harmonious and joyful life. Neurotransmitters are synthesized in nerve endings – the sympathetic system accelerates the functioning of most internal organs (heart, respiratory organs, genital system, urinary system), with the exception of the digestive system, which it inhibits. The parasympathetic system acts in opposition to the sympathetic system and represents the nervous system of long-term survival (it affects salivation, tears, urination, defecation, digestion, etc.).
Although these two nervous systems are activated in different circumstances, both are vital for our survival and well-being. We must be careful about how we nourish our mind. We must take care of our consciousness and what we allow into it. Consciousness must be treated like a delicate flower that requires proper soil and nutrients. Furthermore, we must protect ourselves from negative influences and company. This requires clear intelligence and a consistent way of life aligned with our nature and the “upbringing and culture in which we live.”
The goal of the program is for a person to reach a state of happiness and joy, in fact to free themselves from fear and tension through daily biorhythms and lifestyle. Mentally and spiritually, consciousness “descends and goes” deep into a well – the Aura. What we take in through our senses and mind is like the things we throw into that well. However, whatever we throw into the well, consciousness grows according to its nature and will eventually move us to action. Nothing we introduce (bad or good) into our consciousness-well remains static or without effect. Consciousness is fertile and creative. Whatever we place into it produces offspring that we will have to deal with – for better or for worse. Unlike modern psychology, Vedic psychology presents itself as a system that combines ancient wisdom with practical real-world application in order to effectively manage the mind and emotions, something that is often lacking in materialistic or exclusively theoretical modern approaches.
The basic program begins with breathing techniques (pranayama); various meditation techniques; naturopathic exercises to increase the body’s immune energy; and raising awareness of guidelines on how to balance interpersonal relationships. One very important therapeutic goal is learning how to step out of the crowd of images – who am I; where am I going; and where do I belong?
To have perfect health means maintaining the memory of the correct quantum pattern of the body, which is unchanging and eternal. The way we “metabolize” our reality is especially important. Traditional medicine recognizes a number of methods that help with “remembering,” one of which is through the senses – smell, taste, touch, sight, and hearing – which we “package” into the body as essential information in order to heal it, and if it is aged, to rejuvenate it.
Through the program, we explore the surface ego, which limits time, and our true Self (individuality, ownership, personality, consciousness), whose reflection is everything we actually perceive, whether internally or externally. Artha, or the purpose of the Soul, requires us to look at the bigger picture of Life, that is, to ask ourselves whether we are spending our day fulfilling and supporting the purpose of our inner Self. When a person follows divine Dharma (the universal truth within us) and Purusha (the good energy of consciousness), the heart feels that it is serving Life.
One of the main goals of the program is entering deep awareness of thought through meditation, which will sustain and enhance love (interpersonal relationships) and personal Karma. Karma (a state of identity/socially shared beliefs) is one of the causes of chronic illness, and spiritual knowledge through spiritual astrology includes a therapeutic program for such karmic influences in the client. Awareness and knowledge of reincarnation (birth and death), for both the practitioner and the recipient of traditional medicine, play an important role in therapeutic programs.
Regardless of how we approach the topic of “Health” – in every sense, physical, mental, spiritual, religious, or holistic – society has always been the perfect environment for their growth, flourishing, and refinement of their tendencies. Sensory-guided therapies within the “Awareness Program” change what we introduce into our mind, and this in turn transforms negative states with the help of natural medicine, that is, its traditional branches.

The meaning of the name Sushiveda
Veda is a set of knowledge, procedures and methods that are used to study and develop knowledge about a certain topic, things. The word Sushi is invoked in my therapeutic healing practice of Sushiveda inspiration from the book “Liberation of Fish”, which describes a group of Tibetans who buy live fish from the market to release into the river to save lives and gain merit. This group was taught and led by Lama Rinpoche whose family owned a Sushi restaurant. Lama Rinpoche inspired his family to donate much of the money earned by the Sushi restaurant. They donated a lot of money to monasteries and charities for the blind in Tibet and Nepal. They probably “balanced the conscious life action of karma energy” with a donation to the monasteries to balance at least some of the bad karma from running the Suhi restaurant.
The principle of compensating good deeds with bad ones is apparently very widespread, at least it seemed very familiar to me through meeting the Tibetans who eat fish. Until a few years ago, some (relatively) well-to-do Tibetans really enjoyed the fish restaurants in the Chinese parts of Lhasa. They stopped going there only after the Dalai Lama made some statements about eating fish. In today’s practice of the “Liberation of Fish”, it has a very strong good energy in Saga Dawa (Buddhist celebration commemorating the birth of the Buddha) which is considered the most auspicious time to release the fish so that it can fulfil the request / prayers. Something like eggs for Easter or turkey for Christmas.
My therapeutic healing practice of Sushiveda (sushi is also the aim / point of competitive archery shooting an arrow at a triangular earthen target invented by the Tibetans some 1,300 years ago) is inspired in part by the story and meaning described in the “Liberation of Fish” which takes place in real human coexistence through five elements (transformation) whose life rhythm is dictated by nature, changing seasons, day and night… colours, taste, feelings and psyche, various parts of the human body, senses, tissues, organs… mutual relations in the company, mind-thoughts, socialization…
A therapeutic Sushiveda program based on the five elements–Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth–are the foundational substances forming both the universe and the human body. They represent energetic principles, creating physical structure, metabolic heat, and movement. When balanced, they sustain health; when imbalanced, they manifest as disease, linked directly to the three body Humors (Nyepas). The five elements also correspond to five purified mental states, while their impure state relates to negative emotions like anger and ignorance. These elements are considered the building blocks of life, and their harmony is essential for health. The five elements combine to form the three dynamic principles: Air (Space + Air), Tripa/Fire (Fire), and Beken/Water (Water + Earth). Treatment aims to restore balance using diet, behavior, herbs, and therapies like Massage (Ku-nye) and Moxibustion (Mey-tzar).
- Ѡ
The element Space ( (Nam-mkha) which balances man in spring (liver, gall bladder, senses eyes, feelings of anger, sour taste, and coexistence according to the law of Vedic Astrology planet Jupiter). Space represents the space within the body, providing room for growth and development, encompassing cavities, pores, and the sense of hearing and color green. A green aura signifies emotional balance, profound healing abilities. It indicates a nurturing, generous, and stable personality, often associated with nature and personal transformation.
Ѡ
The element Fire (Mae) which balances man at the beginning of the solar flight (heart, small intestine, sense of language, sense of joy, bitter taste, and coexistence according to the spiritual law of Vedic Astrology planet Mars). Fire controls body temperature, metabolism, digestion, the sense of vision, and colour red. A red aura signifies intense physical energy, passion, grounding, and action-oriented personality. Individuals are typically confident, determined, and courageous “go-getters,” though they may also experience anger, impulsivity, or high stress if the energy is imbalanced.
Ѡ
The element Air (Lung) that balances a person in autumn (lungs, large intestine, sense of the nose, feelings of sadness, bitter taste, and coexistence according to the spiritual law of Vedic Astrology planet Venus). Air governs mobility, respiration, the nervous system, and the sense of touch, and white colour. A white aura symbolizes pure consciousness, high-level spirituality, and divine protection. It signifies a harmonious blend of all colors, indicating a cleansed, peaceful energy field free from negativity.
Ѡ
The element Earth (Sa) that balances a person at the end of the solar flight (spleen, stomach, senses of the mouth, feelings of obsession, sweet taste, and coexistence according to the spiritual law of Vedic Astrology planet Saturn). Earth provides solidity and stability, forming muscles, bones, the sense of smell, and colour yellow. A yellow aura represents vibrant, sunny energy associated with high intellect, optimism, creativity, and spiritual awakening. It indicates a personal power, and a joyful, curious, and social personality.
Ѡ
The element Water (Chu) which balances a person in the winter period (kidney, bladder, senses ears, sense of fear, salty taste, and coexistence according to the spiritual law of Vedic Astrology planet Mercury). Water responsible for cohesion, hydration, blood, body fluids, the sense of taste, and colour black. A black aura signifies deep transformation, intense protection, or the processing of heavy emotions like grief, anger, or fear. Often misunderstood, it represents a “shield” against negative energy, grounding, and personal power rather than just negativity.

Let’s enjoy health when health is good, and be patient when health is bad.
